YOU NEVER WALK ALONE
Idag missade jag bussen men då hittade jag en second hand affär jag inte kände till, köpte två Mahalia Jackson LPs, varav en julskiva. Jag lyssnar alltid lite extra på henne kring julen eftersom mamma spelade alltid hennes skivor på julaftonsmorgon när vi klädde granen. Jag är så nervös och rädd inför imorgon att jag inte kan tänka klart. Det är därför jag skriver så konstigt just nu. Jag vill dö. Nu.
Och långt därborta, det låter som det kommer utifrån kanske från stora vägen, men jag vet ju att det är bara i mitt huvud, hör jag Animal Collectives fenomenala Daffy Duck. Viskandes, en nästan väsandes Avey "what I need is good advice". Annars är det knäpptyst här, bortsett från marsvinen som tuggar på hö, vibrationen från kylskåpets fläkt och det där surret som låter när grannen använder duschen.

ReplyDeleteI think ebay has really good selection of vintage looking boots, but I keep losing every bidding, hehe. On the other hand even if you buy new, you can always beat them up a bit..and then there you go - a perfect vintage look. Anyhow, I do hope you find what you are looking for!
And as for the name of my blog...well, I live in Ukraine, but my dream has always been to live in Stockholm (no idea why!). When I was creating my blog I was studeing at the University here and felt so tied up to this place (Ukraine that is) due to circumstances...So basically goodbyestockholm was my ironic response to the state of things in my life, where I say goodbye to a place I have never been to.
